2. Service Description
PdfBroker.io provides a cloud-based REST API for PDF document generation and manipulation, including HTML to PDF conversion (via WeasyPrint and wkhtmltopdf), XSL-FO to PDF rendering, and PDF utilities such as merge, split, text overlay, and image conversion.
3. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or API key.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
The Service is offered under various subscription plans with different request limits and feature availability. Pricing and plan details are described on our Pricing page.
Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. If you exceed your plan's request limit, additional requests may be throttled or declined until the next billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate documents containing illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without prior written consent
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its APIs, documentation, and website, is the intellectual property of PdfBroker.io. You retain ownership of the content you submit for PDF generation.
7. Data Processing
Document content submitted to the API is processed solely for the purpose of generating the requested PDF output. We do not retain, analyze, or share your document content. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
8. Service Availability
We strive to provide high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. Scheduled maintenance, updates, and unforeseen circumstances may result in temporary service interruptions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PdfBroker.io shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate your account at any time. You may cancel your subscription through your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive usage patterns.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service will cease immediately. Any outstanding fees remain payable.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.
